My name is Nick Bare and I am the creator of Embrace The Suck Training Programs. Over the past decade I have tested my mind and body through military training, a bodybuilding show, powerlifting training, multiple marathons and an IRONMAN (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run)...and I am just getting started.
I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition in 2013 before commissioning in to the US Army as an Active Duty Infantry Officer. While in the military I completed the US Army Ranger School and had the privilege of serving as an Infantry Platoon Leader. During my time in the military I learned to incorporate both strength training and cardiovascular conditioning together in order to reach my fitness goals.
Today my training is a combination of resistance training, metabolic conditioning and endurance training. I enjoy lifting heavy weights while focusing on power performance, including a lot of hypertrophy to stimulate muscle growth and also a heavy dose of cardiovascular training.
